I wanted to formally introduce myself. My name is Eric Engoron and I’m a senior Undergrad turned Grad student Computer Science Major and Japanese Minor here at SBU. I work in a virtual reality cube, teach Japanese, and write blog posts in my spare time. I look forward to writing content for you all this school year.
In addition to introducing myself, I wanted to talk about my summer. For the majority of my summer, I was here at Stony Brook.
While many people seem to say Stony Brook is terrible in the summer due to it being a “ghost town with no food,” my experience was quite different. During my summer, after class and work, I was finally able to explore Stony Brook. I was able to eat at every restaurant I always wanted to try, I was able to live with friends that I was unable to live with during the school year, but most of all, I was able to experience Stony Brook in a stress-free environment. I was able to take in the summer at Stony for all it is worth. Between USG Barbecues, Movies, and fun times with friends, this summer at Stony was one that I will never forget.
Now, we are back to the grind and I am looking forward to posting more experiences as they come.
Until next time,
